its been an amazing two years working with prisoners and supporting the efforts of government at reform and education in chichri prison through future in our hands Malawi..i have definately learnt alot-
and to have a band such as nyasa gurus perform for free was wonderful…great talent huge heart…theres plenty more room for people like that in this world.

Hey Willy, that is true. There were Jewish slave traders and some unscrupulous, selfish African individuals contributed to their own nations Holocaust. In the same way some Americans became spies for Russia during the cold war and others have turned against their peers, rivals or ‘state’ for personal gain.

The African Chiefs and those with the power to own slaves did as you say and are equally as inhumane as the traders.

After the so called ‘abolition of slavery’ it is important to note that Africans did not make segregation legal and Africa at large did not benefit financially like Britain or the USA from the African Holocaust.

This is not a black vs white thing, its a history thing.
Just like we remember other atrocities from the history of humanity we must do the same here so the same horrors can not be repeated.

There’s only one race, the human race. Take the post for what it is.
